Hate the default color scheme
Out of the box Microsoft did a very poor job on the default color scheme of Outlook 2013.  The default colors are so washed out there is hardly any contrast between the folders and the emails.  I hate it and definitely recommend changing your Office Theme immediately.  Click File and  then options.  Then use the drop down list to select Dark Gray for the Office Theme.

Love the quick delete option
See that little X on the right hand side of the email?  That is an Office 2013 first feature and I love it. You don’t have to move the mouse up to the toolbar to delete anymore because they put the delete in the location your mouse will be when browsing email.

Love the reply in your inbox
When you start replying to an email the draft appears in your inbox.  This is a great reminder for finishing up any emails you started but didn’t finish.  Just be sure to click discard (not delete) if you want to delete the draft reply.  Otherwise, you will delete the original email as well.

Hate the 32 / 64 bit nonsense
Why Microsoft even made a 64 bit version of Office is beyond me.  Loads of applications such as QuickBooks and Adobe Acrobat are not able to send email directly to Outlook if you have the 64 bit version of Office.  And it’s near impossible to find out whether you have 32 bit or 64 bit installed; only google seems to know how to find this information.

Love dragging attachments
I love how you can just drag and drop a file into an email to attach it.  It’s possible this feature was available in earlier versions but I only just recently discovered the feature.
